i am a porch person

I love sitting on porches. I'm looking forward to a swing, rockers, glasses of iced tea- the whole porch experience.

curb appeal

Tom trimmed the tree, so the house is now visible from the street.



As you can see, all of the siding is finally up.





Also, we now have garage doors.

hello mudder...hello fodder

The mudders (gentlemen whom I've learned fill in the nail holes and gaps in between the sheets of drywall with some sort of, well, mud) have done their job and the walls await sanding and paint.

our porch

One of the aspects of the house that I'm most excited about is the porch.
Here's what the ceiling looks like:







It's called a "beaded ceiling." I have no idea why, but I like it.

clark? ann of green?





I didn't really know what a gable was until I asked my architect what this cool element was on the front of the house. I learned that it's a gable trim accent. I dig it.
